Let me know if this isnt the rifht sub for this or if there is a better one. I'm looking to ask for a raise at my job next week. I'm looking to ask for a raise at my job next week. I have been there 1 year now, I did receive a raise on the new year but that was a cost of living raise (which also factors in preformance) but I want to be able to ask for a raise after being here 1 year.

Here are some details on my year here, i do want to preface this by saying its a small company who treats me really well but i need more momey cause life is expensive. Our CEO quit so we all jad to pick up some extra duties to help out while he was gone, for me this included working on our advertising campaign. We hired a new guy since I suggested we should while a coworker was on maternity leave and I was the one who trained him alone. I have taken extra courses to upgrade my license for the industry and have completed 2 of them. I have also been one of the top sellers and regularly clear 10k a month, a goal I set for myself on a whim. I provide alot of insight into industry standards having worked for other larger companies and have solutions for alot of the issues we encounter.

I am well liked at the office by everyone including my boss but when I brought the idea up to her she just said we only do calender year raises not date of employment.
