Advice: Work Is Trying To Screw Me

I need good advice. I am an Ontario resident. My company is trying to get me to work Friday, December 23rd saying it is a required day to work. My regularly scheduled shifts are the weekend shift, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. According to their own Christmas Schedule, I have the option of using my PTO or Vacation time on the non-stat days of the weekend. I have done so with the 23rd, 30th, and 1st of January. All 3 days were approved. I also cannot, from home or phone, access my company's information portal with my company credentials to double check and verify. How should I respond to the HR Email: “I just wanted to let you know that we are running a required to run shift on Friday December 23, 2022 from 6AM to 6PM at Plant 5. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.…

Can I continue with my paid day off without losing my Stat pay?

I have accessed the work portal site and have confirmed the approval. I have screenshots and emails to confirm the approval and the date approved was Dec 12. I'm feeling pretty confident that I have Friday off. BUT, can they use this to take away my stat holiday pay? It was assumed and put on their schedule that the 23rd was an “unpaid day”. To me that implies that they do not plan to run a regularly scheduled shift that day. Thoughts?
