I accepted this job as an associate and have assumed 50% more responsibility and excelled at it. I asked for a promotion with a raise and our HR basically blames me for accepting a low salary and started question why I was so ~unsatisfied~ with my salary.
For context, I did ask for a salary adjustment a year ago when I learned I was severely underpaid (disclosed by my ex-manager) Now I’m asking for a promotion since I’m already doing the tasks for the next role anyway, and somehow it’s my fault my associate salary doesn’t match my manager tasks
Time to look for a new job
