This sub has taught me to assume the tip I leave will be stolen by management / owners. It seems most prevalent in carry out food / drink establishments but I just read a comment about it happening in a vape shop. It's better for your sanity and the worker's income if you put cash in their hand. Then there are no lingering questions about parasitic leeches stealing from employees with impunity.
