The job market is currently undergoing a paradigm shift as AI is increasingly displacing jobs from humans.
Most of the middle management level jobs, which used to be a yardstick for human achievement are being delegated to AI, bots, automated processes.
As we saw this week, major tech companies like Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft and Accenture have laid off thousands of employees while making record profits and spending billions of USD on share buybacks.
Thw economic reasons given don't hold ground because any projected saving would be dwarfed by the amount spent on buybacks.
The true underlying reason is that the adoption of AI requires less and less humans much like was the case in the auto-industry except this time, instead of physical robots, the work is being replaced by digital robots.
