Recently stumbled across the AirBnB host subreddit, and have been getting it recommended ever since. I don’t understand why I don’t see more hosts in this sub. They truly don’t have to work at all!
Did you know a majority of hosts, at least ones in the sub, use a management company for their AirBnB? This means all bookings, cleanings, and I’m assuming disputes are handled by the company.
They’ve figured it out guys. All you need is to own a ~$300k house that you don’t need to live in because you already have a ~600k house. No work required. It just prints money for you.
Occasionally you might have to deal with some scum not doing your house chores like a full-clean, trash removal, and quick spin on the lawnmower. But honestly the management company will just handle that most of the time. And if they don’t, those handy cleaning-fees can pay for a maid four-times over.
I am a bit worried because my bookings seem to be going down. I own several properties that I grossly overpaid for because of gentrification (fucking rich assholes) and the coming recession has me worried.
Anyways, figured I’d drop some knowledge for you guys. If you all weren’t so lazy you’d see how easy it is to work for what you want. Cheers!
