Over the past few months I've been picking up extra shifts. The attendance policy at work is basically… put your name and the date you want off on a corkboard and then don't show up. There's no limitation on the number of days, and it doesn't matter how much “notice” you give because the boss never checks the board until the day of when you don't come in for your shift. We are desperately short handed and have been for about 2 months now. P
