Am i risking my chance at unemployment?

So the company i've been with for the past 2 years is closing down. in turn, they are slowly laying everyone from each department off, they just let go of 18 people last friday, and i just don't have the motivation to go in and bust my ass, for 18 an hour, i have called out yesterday, and plan to do so with the rest of my sick days, I don't necessarily need the money from unemployment, but i would like to know if they let me go for this, if i'm screwing my chances, i hope this makes sense
