Americans of antiwork, would you prefer the European system

The grass seems always greener on the other side. Here in Europe (I come from a slightly shittier country) you can have the following: Mandated 22 working days of paid leave Mandated basic insurance covered by the employer (there is still the premium) Kindergarten and schools for your kids are paid for Welfare 'fraud' is as easy as opening a lemonade stand On the other hands, you will also have to deal with the following: Insane income taxes and sales taxes Long unemployment periods due to insane onboarding fees and taxes for the employer, they can't try you out to see if you fit like in at will states Basically non-existent business loans and expensive property It does seem better for the average joe BUT highly educated people suck unemployment for upto a year if not more due to lack of opportunities.
