Anyone familiar with employment contract law in australia?

I just started a new job and have felt the joy drain away from me as I realise the boss is a psychopath. I have to give 60 days notice to terminate which I’m fine with as it gives me a reasonable amount of time to find another role. However there is also a clause in my contract that says they can terminate my contract with 1 weeks notice during the probation period. What I don’t want to happen is for me to give 60 days notice and then have them turn around and give me just one weeks notice. Is this a potential outcome?
