Anyone know of a messaging app/website on PC that would look like I’m working?

My control freak boss keeps getting on my case for being on my cell phone despite it not having any impact on my work. G-chat and WhatsApp are firewalled on the work computer. For the most part I just want to be able to message my husband during the day.
