Anyone know the specific statute that protects workers from discussing pay?

At my work I just found an add advertising starting pay for new hires at a higher pay grade than what most of us are making. So I decided to stir the pot and share it with everyone. Well I was talking with one of my managers about something unrelated. She first mentioned we signed a contract that allows them to take phones and search bags, which they literally have never done to anyone, but it’s there. I asked what other shady shit I signed for. She said we’re not allowed to discuss pay. I say it’s protected by law by the nation labor relations act. And she got very defensive and doubted me. So I’ve been searching on the website and idk if I’m blind and just missing it, but I want the statute on hand and ready if they try some bullshit. Yea I can just quit, but…

Yea I can just quit, but it’s a pretty good work environment and I’ve made a couple genuine friendships here, so I’d rather stick around while I’m still in college. Never worked a place before where I I wasn’t miserable 24/7.
