Nothing against those who are going to college and getting their majors of course, I just think it's a lot of work with usually not much returns, and you have less free time, a lot of debt if you aren't fortunate enough, and you have to pay THEM instead of the other way around, when it's very clearly like a job.
I just can't see any good use for it other than becoming a teacher or doctor. There are trades you can get into that lets you just get straight to the point and allow you to make a lot in less time, and can even cost a lot less sometimes. And I really can't stand writing essays like 10 times a week, especially without getting paid for it. Programming is one thing you definitely don't need college for if you just learn it yourself, or with other things like construction trades.
It's hard for me to understand why people like it these days when most jobs that require a degree are horribly underpaying and understaffing.
