Applying to a job for fun and then quitting out of no where

5 years ago when I was in high school I worked at Dairy Queen. I worked there for a few months until I couldn’t take it any longer. They paid me $7.50 an hour and after 12 weeks got a raise of 25¢. I was abused at this job because i was young and stupid. I was hired as an icecream maker and was forced to clean restrooms, stay past 11pm to clean and close even when I had to wake up at 6am for school the next day, forced to pay for food and drinks. Sometimes costumers would return the food and instead of letting us have the clean food they returned, they would make us throw it away so we would have to buy our own during lunch. Forward to today, I’m pretty well of financially, got a great paying internship this summer that just finished and do…

Forward to today, I’m pretty well of financially, got a great paying internship this summer that just finished and do not need this job at all. However, a friend of mine who was there working me during this time told me our old manager is still there (the one that made our life impossible). I’m sure she won’t recognize me, I’ve lost tons of weight, hasn’t seen me in 5 years and look a bit older, so that’s good.

So, super pity of me, but I’ve applied for the job again. I want to go back and work one week, impress them with how fast I learn “new stuff” and then after a week, dip out. they will never hear from me again and will left wondering what happened.

My question is how ethical is this, can it affect my profesional life? Can I get in legal trouble?

I can’t lie I’m exited for this, seems fun and exciting hahaha.
