Arbitration is bullshit and everyone should decline a job offer if it’s in the contract.

This is probably something that almost everyone is aware of. If not, make sure you read the fine print. Why would companies want someone who they pay to decide a dispute against them instead of a judge? Pretty sure we can all figure that one out. Bringing this up because a buddy of mine has been interviewing for jobs and got a few offers. He told me he took the lower (slightly) paying job because they didn’t have an arbitration clause in the contract. And he absolutely let the higher paying job know why he didn’t accept their offer. Wish I had a copy of the email. I’ll update if he doesn’t mind me posting it. Obviously, I know not everyone has the flexibility or options to do that. But if you do, DO IT. And it’s your responsibility to let the shitty job know why they don’t deserve you.
