Are Seasonal Workers Entitled to Overtime Pay?

As the title states… Are seasonal workers entitled to overtime pay? My gf works in the bakery of a resort hotel in Massachusetts. They are only “Seasonal” for 3 weeks in January and I believe this to be so they don't technically need to provide benefits to their employees. My gf also works 12 hour days routinely (roughly 56 hours per week or more) and is paid via salary. The company that owns the resort seems somewhat shady as well. Her first paycheck was late by a few days because “the system is hard to learn” and “there are growing pains with the new system.” Knowing all this, is my gf entitled to overtime pay? Should we file a complaint with the department of labor? TIA
