Hey everyone. So, I recently got a new job. At first it seemed good as the people seemed nice during the interview and its a decent pay raise, but I'm starting to notice some things that give me reason to worry.
First, we're supposedly the 6th training class to come onboard since they started a new program in May. There's about 20 people in my class, but the building is mostly empty. There's like maybe 10 people taking calls and they don't offer a work from home option so I know that's not the reason.
When asked about the low numbers our trainer tried to sweep it under the rug by saying some people were just off that day, but added that “some people just don't want to work anymore” which really made me wary.
I was just wondering if these sounded like potential problems or if I'm just overthinking things.
