Attendance issue has me reevaluating my job.

I work in childcare. I went to a meeting recently where it was explained that if we can't come to work, we have to find our own replacement or else we're in trouble. The main problem is that I work with children 5 and under. If you know anything about kids that age, you know they are great at spreading germs. Our policy is that sick kids aren't allowed to be there, but I've been told not to confront parents about anything for the time being. I'm constantly getting sick. Policy also says I can't come in sick. I asked my manager to clarify, and he said that I will indeed have consequences even if I'm ill. As of now, I'm trying to only stay home if I have a severe symptom like vomiting. If I get that sick again, I'm likely to be suspended. And after that, more infractions…

Sadly this isn't new to me, as it's been like this at every job I've had. I just thought this one would be different. I like my job, but they're asking me to come to work even if I'm ill, where I will be holding babies all day.
