I’ve been having problems with this girl all year. She’s very controlling but most the time the stuff she tries to tell you isn’t even right She complains about very minor things that are fixable. Stop me if you’ve heard this before. I was reprimanded earlier today by my boss for posting about my podcast that I started a few months ago. One of the most recent episodes came out and I always post same day. Apparently, they got several messages from other people about it, and I can’t post about it during work hours because I have to “focus on my job” during that time frame”. Question about manager and situation?
I used to work closely with a lady who was really great to work with. I'll call her Mary. Mary did a lot for the department including training me when I joined and also working with another lady in the office called Sam. We all worked great together for over 5+ years until we all got a new manager, and this manager Pete is just rude. He was very rude mostly to Mary. I tried to stay out of it, but I could see how Pete was behaving towards Mary, belittling her and her decision making (in front of various people). I currently work in retail and make $20/hr. I have worked here for 8 months and it's been the worst job I've ever had (and stayed at). The managers are the rudest I've ever come across. They cut hours. Purposely don't give you two days off in a row as punishment. Favoritism. Soooo much more I've hated this place since the first day I started.
