should i quit lolzers
So a recent statement from the higher ups is that if you miss a punch they linger will fix it, if you don’t fix it with in 2hrs you won’t get paid. Now luckily I rarely miss punching in and out using the time clock so it won’t affect me but this just irked me royally. They are saying some one (and I’m thinking mostly the first job kids) will not get even though they worked their whole shift due to this and will just let it happen. Can they do this it doesn’t feel legal? I lead a team with a guy – I feel he's always trying to guilt trip me into working more? Like he made a comment today during our sync asking if I'm working the weekend. ( We don't get paid for weekends or anything) I said no – and then he proceeds to tell me that it's okay cause I need the rest. And then says he'll work the weekends cause we have a lot of work piled up. I mean – we're kinda sorted imo. Plus he's always ranting about working 10-12 hours a day and telling me how much he's working all the fucking time. I do my job and get the work done. He's one of those who want to show that he's working a lot – don't wanna fight with him or anything – but how to deal with him?
My coworker has been working at this company for about 20 years. One day the boss asks her to take on a completely different role that she does not feel comfortable doing. She tells the boss that she would like to continue doing the work that she has been doing for the past 20 years instead of having her train a new person to fill her role. The boss refuses and says if she doesn’t want to take on this new role she has no other option but to leave – despite the fact that she has been wonderful at her job with no complaints from others.
