Management wanted to cut their expenses at any cost, the unions tried to push for better and safer conditions, but the government decided that corporate profits were more important than lives.

There is actually some truth to this post.

Even with the food price increasing. You can still make food at home for cheap and save a lot of money. That leftover money could go to many things like debt, savings, entertainment and even to travel. All of it is really possible.

I’m sick of working for these racist landlords.

I don't even know where to begin with this one. For context, I'm a typical broke college student that struggles to buy groceries and pay bills. I started working for my landlords about a year ago. It wasn't my first choice by any means, but I was desperate and they pay better than any of the other college-friendly jobs around here. Since I started here, I've seen some really awful and disheartening stuff. The owner of the company, along with all of his corporate henchmen, are pure evil. They spend their days ruining peoples' lives in a courtroom, most of them Black. It's pretty obvious that most of these are racially motivated, considering Black tenants end up in court over $50 while white tenants rack up thousands of dollars in unpaid rent and fees without any consequences from the company. They don't try to hide their racism either; they make…

Ranty rant

So I’ve been following this page for a while. I am a paramedic and I’ve worked in emergency medicine for 8 years now. After COVID I was looking to come off of the ambulance so I’ve been working in a pediatric emergency dept as a medic but we work as RNs there. So many people think “wow they LET YOU take patients?”… yes they LET me take a job I’m 100% qualified to do for $8/hr less than RNs. Anyway… the job is incredibly stressful for little money. I’ve faced personal challenges there that I’ve never faced before. I’ve also developed plantar fasciitis (from walking in a very fast paced work environment) and digestion issues that I feel have come from working in such a high stress environment. I love all of my coworkers and we all get along so well (probably because we are trauma bonded) but management sucks.…

Co-workers and management are beginning to treat me differently because I regularly use FMLA leave

I take a week or two every couple of months depending on how my mental health is. But since Ive been using it, the entire department at work from floor workers to management are treating be differently. Some are more hostile toward me, some just dont wanna look at me. Qutting is not an option at the moment but this is making the environment more miserable for me, any advice is welcome.

After 9 months of being paid wrongly..

I finally got it corrected. But if I am correct, I should be compensated for back pay that didn't reflect what I should be making correct? For reference I was making $18hr, while I should have been making $19hr. So legally I am owed that money yes? Just want to know what I should respond to my boss with. Thank you. Edit: I am in Indiana and this was a signed contract that both parties agreed too.
