I currently work as a security guard and I have large amounts of downtime. I use my phone and Steam Deck a lot to pass the time. I want to know what are some other jobs for lazy people I can get into aside from being a security guard? Edit: spelling.
Has anyone’s boss used this as a justification for a toxic work environment or being overworked? My boss is an ass in general but the few times I’ve tried to explain to her I have a lot on my plate and that I feel she’s being unnecessarily harsh or micromanagey (obviously not in those exact words” she pulls this one. It almost seems like she herself goes through the same thing and not having had a lot of jobs just thinks it’s normal and justifies it so if god forbid anyone slightly complains you’re the bad guy and what’s wrong with you? It’s exhausting having a supervisor who literally doesn’t care if you are doing well. This new girl at work started working here and everyone is so cringe, they simp over her like crazy. They call her there princess or they run for her when she asks something. They drop everything for her the men. The women do not care (good on them!).
