I had an interview on Thursday, got offered on the spot and filled out the paper work online later that day. I was told someone would reach out to me regarding my start date soon. Friday comes and goes, along with the weekend. The morning hours of Monday are just shaving away and I'm getting frustrated, so I call. It's apparent they genuinely forgot about me and the fact that I was hired. They scrambled trying to find a start date while in the phone. It's just super unprofessional. A part of me actually wanted to continue to let them be aloof and just sue for lost wages.

In need of a mental health day. Hoping for some bad weather but if no real reasons to stay home, what do you say? All I have to do is send a text, but I hate providing more info than needed.

I work at a relatively small non-profit and started at this place literally 2 days post grad from my Masters program. The original job I was hired for was new to the org but was tasked assisting an entire department. My boss decided 2 months into my employment, that I would be moved into an even newer role that was technically a promotion but there was no job description and no raise to accompany it. So I'm looking for a new job, and I've got some companies trying to schedule interviews. This one job's description is I I will be making $600-$1200 a week. That's vague so I looked it up and it basically this shady sales job. Most people said it was deceptive. Hello, My job involves looking at the same transaction, over and over. I love my job, for I am protecting clients from bad risky investments. There is gray area in my position, but looking to automate it more. I can still do the review but the issue is I have no API, and its in PDF but the PDF is built into the system, can't download. Curious if there is a way or point me to someone who can.
