Bit at work
Need some work guidance!
So, I have been working at a high level advertising firm, we have a team of 4 which should be 6 but they aren’t able to get/hire the top 2 senior roles in the team. This has not affected our work as we manage stuff and have been able to smoothly run things. Now my immediate higher up (GH) who isnt exactly my boss but is asked to run things in the absence of the top 2 people, is not that social and cannot really give feedback to a person in the team who isnt carrying her weight. All new and data related tasks which require speed and dexterity are given to me which I am ok with as I get to learn new things almost every other day. 17 and have a cruddy manager
Hello first off I apologize for my lack of grammar and whatever I’m brain dead when it comes to that stuff. I’ve been working here for about 1 year and 3 months and I’d like to ask for atleast an extra day off or to alternate Saturdays with someone but don’t know how to go about it. So if anyone has some sort of advice for this kinda situation please tell me I know it’s very unlikely and I’ll probably just get told to to quit. I’m also thinking of asking for a…
We all go to our silly little jobs everyday all day, most of these jobs are completely nonessential or even useful to society. You go home on your 20-60 minute commute and cook your silly little dinner and do some silly little hobbies/goals for like 2-3 hours if you're lucky to not need to do chores or take care of another human. Then you go to bed and do it again until you die. And this is like the good, middle class life in America. If you live like this you've “made it.” This is actually all there is. They want us to be grateful for THIS???Feeling ridiculous. We all work too damn much.
