Why haven’t other countries spoke up for workers rights in America?

I know, that sounds horrid that the bully of the world, has civilians that need help… but if they can’t speak up… who will? Workers have few if any rights. We can’t even speak up publicly for fear we’ll lose health care. Basic human rights like food and clean water aren’t even priority. They just keep feeding police and military. America is such a dangerous place, you can’t get near your representatives physically – for historical significant reference Versailles vs The White House. Their own government is documented fueling the drugs going into their communities. Lead is all over the pipes. BLM protests showed just how willing they are to ignore and destroy their civilians (95% peaceful). They have the ability to help their citizens and purposely chose not to While convincing them to call it handout, or socialism. They don’t have the right to peacefully assemble and protest -…

Confused about McDonald’s?

I’m having a bit of employment issues and not sure where to put this, but I need help. I recently filed to receive my employment statement (every job and every $$ of earnings I ever made) from SSA. Turns out, McDonalds which I worked at 8 YEARS AGO in a totally different state has me listed as still employed which is screwing up my benefits in my own state. How does someone fix this??

Where are we going?

I still remember that day when my parents asked me if I want to experience life abroad to make my future better. I said yes. When I was studying, almost perfect GPA, then I started my career. Been promoted, then laid off lol. Landed another job, small progress. Changed my job to increase my salary which was absolute shit. Covid hits. Laid off again. Back again. Super stressful position for a big company. Salary? Grateful, but it has no value. Changed again to relax a bit. Regression. Burnout. Not a fit. I don't know. I don't have time to socialize and even I do, I feel nothing. I went back to visit my native country. I observe poverty or in other words a huge gap in economic classes. A woman I'm attracted to told me “I like you, I love your closeness”. My family always say “we support you”. I…

McCormick.

McCormick will be doing all it can to terminate its employees due to share holders not getting enough monies. They’ll replace their workers with temps and pay them 15-17 bucks an hour probably less. The reason why is because they won’t have to match their contributions, pay medical, or anything else like that because temps are temps. It’s happening now in a few places Disclaimer: this is a working plot for a movie. Should any of this be considered fact is purely coincidence and shame on you if it is.

No license, no promotion

I was interviewed for a management position at my current place of employment. I’ve worked for this company a few years. I’m more than qualified for the position, and they said they wanted me to start training. I’ve never missed a shift, and I’ve never been late due to transportation. I use Uber, it’s very reliable because I live in a large city. Denied at the end of the last interview because I don’t have a license. This company doesn’t offer delivery or anything like that. I don’t understand. I’m so disappointed.

Missed a semi-annual bonus by less than a fraction of 1%.

Warning long post so feel free to scroll along if you’d like… I loathe sharing personal things on social media for various reasons, especially when it comes to work, but I have to get this off my chest. I’ve been at my job for 6 1/2 years now, and for the most part, I absolutely love it. Not every day, but most days, I don’t dread going into work, because what I do serves are larger purpose, besides just bringing home a paycheck. But let’s be honest, almost no one goes to work simply out of the goodness of their own heart. We all work to make money to support ourselves and our families. So with that in mind, something happened today that is going to take me quite a while to get over. First, a little context- Every month, revenue reports come out that track how the business is…
