Like say you got hired as a waiter but 6 months in they want you to be a waiter and start washing dishes for the same pay, are they allowed to fire you if you refuse unless you get a raise?

We all worked for one of the largest banks. We have tons of conference rooms all with the name of the city for our different offices. They were gathered and told all of their jobs were now redundant due to people hired in Asia. They were in the Singapore room.

Due to being unable to find the particular post, ( so can’t reply directly) I’m apologising this way. About the reply that I had about employing people convicted of an illegal act, falsely or not. I did not mean any thing by using that word. And it was ignorant of me. This does not excuse me from any comment that I made. Edit: please no upvoting I’m NOT doing this for karma.

When that “not in my backyard” attitude blows up in your face. You don't want me to be your neighbor? Fine. But you'll soon run out of grocery store cashiers and then have to drive to the poor town an hour away to do your shopping. Congratulations. You played yourself. My salty attitude aside, this is a good sign, right? Wealthy homeowners and business owners are realizing that they actually need low income people to live next to them for a community to function? But we still got to change the name so the rich people feel better about it.

I work at a hospital doing nightshifts whoever was on during the afternoon left my area spotless which is unheard of where i work, i went too my manager too ask who it was and maybe commend them since they did such a good job and he couldn't of cared less and went right back too doing nothing in his office why are managers like this??
