For a little bit of background: I’ve been at a company for about a year and a half. Recently I’ve been singled out for using my phone, something I don’t do any more than any other particular employee per se. I was caught by the CEO of the company on my phone for barely two seconds and he notified my boss’ boss saying that, “I was on my phone for a long time while someone else was working next to me.” Which is a lie — I was building shelving with another worker and we both were deliberately taking a moment’s rest. So now I am on a 90 day phone probation. Where if I am caught on my phone there is a chance they will send me home. I had a discussion with my manager who is quite understanding. I told him how I feel targeted, how I’ve seen…

I want to maybe work there but I also want to apply to three other places, all vastly different then the first internship but they may know each other. How should I make it clear I am going to be comparing how much per hour the others offer and ask about salary, respectfully but direct?
fuck tmobile I’m switching
Got a notice today that managers will be expected to more strictly enforce the 3 day in-office required work schedule. 2021 was our company's most profitable year EVER. 2022 was not as good but we did very well. The CEO got almost $100M last year and will probably get something similar this year. So… if the company is doing so well with people working 3 days or less in the office, why the hell would they force people to come in more? At this point, isn't it glaringly obvious that working in the office doesn't necessarily improve productivity? Somebody help me understand this.
Y'all. I'm livid. I was offered a WFH position at my company – supposed to start on the 23rd. I already signed the offer letter and eveything. I got covid last week and was out until Tuesday. When I returned my current boss (C) said to reach out to my future boss (S) because she had been trying to get ahold of me. I was a little confused because I didn't have any texts, emails, direct slacks, voicemails – nothing. The only thing I have is 1000000 missed spam calls, I figured maybe she had tried to call me and I missed it because I don't have her number. So I reached out and she said she was concerned with my absence and inactivity. Bullshit but whatever, I apologized and asked her to send her number so I don't keep missing her. She did not. Last night she…

sexually assaulted at work
I was sexually assaulted at work in an isolated hallway that I learned today has no cameras. The person put his hand on my thigh, leg and then squeezed my butt before I ran out of the hallway. And this was my first day. They said they would get the police involved if they had to, but I don't feel quite safe now knowing that there's no cameras in that hallway where the women's restroom is. Now I feel I need to be afraid to just use the toilet. Not to mention how fucking violated and sad I am. I don't want to go back but I'm worried they won't pay me for the work I've done.
