That was my mother's response to, “how will college students working on $10/hr afford a home or place to rent?” It's like boomers refuse to acknowledge that our system is fucked. I love my mother, but it infuriates me that she refuses to accept that homes are unaffordable, jobs aren't paying enough to live off of, and our government is worthless.

My company is moving buildings and because management is newish they asked during our meeting today that if we have suggestions for the move that they'd love to hear it as us workers are the ones that truly know the factory. They mentioned that they will be getting a shipping container to hold our jigs that we use for welding. My dream job is in the shipping container industry and I have had experience in modification and devanning.
