Client brought me on for an ever increasing and disorganized list of tasks in December. After 18 days of ghosting me after the bill, a member of their legal department notified me that they will only pay for less < 20 hours of the 40+ hours billed. Any advice?

Do All Millennials Do This?
I work in a mid size start up (500 ppl, abt 5 years old). Whenever mid-level leaders (directors/sr managers) are discussing how to move forward and resolve an issue, there is a propensity of millennials that feel copying the ELT on the (long) email thread is a good idea. Is this some kind of new behavior or are they just that inexperienced in a business setting that they don’t know the etiquette of the situation? If I was on the ELT, I would be pissed about my email being blown up and cluttered with trivia that I would expect the lower level leaders would be taking care of. What are they actually accomplishing by copying the execs other than irritating them? What am I missing here? I’ll add I have over 30 years professional experience, am in a director role, but am newish (3 years) to start-up culture.
want to quit during first week
I just started three days ago after not working for 5 months. It's a customer service /accounts receivable full time position Monday – Friday 7-3pm. I can't wake up this early, and I hate the work, training is so boring. I'm just making appointments /collecting money,/data entry it's so mind numbling boring. I don't want to be here. What do I do?
I wish I was born in Europe
European are always f*cking traveling. You all get prettier looking countries with historical buildings. Is it true you get 5 weeks off plus bank holidays? You all actually have transportation too. I hate it here.

What are some pro antiwork communes?
I would be ok without a life of luxury as long as I can get food, shelter and necessities without needing to do any work. I won't cause any trouble in the community, just like to be left alone with my video games. I can provide emotional support and comic relief is necessary
