So last Friday I had to have a new fridge delivered. My landlord set it up and it was supposed to come between 12 and 4. Loews contacted me the night before and said my window was actually 8-8. I sent a teams message to all the staff and worked from home all day minus about 20 minutes while dealing with the fridge guys. Today I got pulled into the bosses office and he told me they were going to dock me half a days pay “not to make an example of me, but to make an example of me”. I am a salaried employee who works from 730-430 everyday with only a small break to eat my desk. I don’t have a job where I am producing anything. I literally sit in my chair all day answering emails and teams messages from production folks. They don’t even come to…
Informed them, I’ll be gone regardless. 7 months in an insanely long time to know of my absence and plan accordingly. Coming from a company that told us they made 12 billion more this year than last while also telling us they are no longer giving us bonuses in the same 45 minute meeting. I work 12-16 hours a Day 5 days a week. I deserve 3 days off.

I don’t understand how two sets is enough to wear for an entire week. Am I suppose to rewear them multiple times or to pay for more suits out of my own pocket? How would this work? I have to tailor my own clothing every time too and they’re willing to do so, but for only two dress suits. Why do I need to spend money to do my job or rely on wearing two outfits multiple times throughout the week.
Going into work after scheduled hours.
Short and sweet. I was scheduled 11a-4pm. Tomorrow's my day off. The truck that was meant to be there at 11a isn't showing up until right now 5pm. Am I obligated to go into work and help unload it an I in the clear because it's outside of my posted schedule? I'm having to cancel plans.
