I hate my job. I’m antisocial because I want to be the forgotten employee. I don’t want to make small talk and pretend to care about someone’s kids I just want to clock in, clock out then go home. Call me antisocial I don’t care, I just don’t want to force painful small talk with people 10-20 years older than me with bad coffee breath who only talk about the weather or football with such a depressing somber tone in their voices no matter what they talk about. I hate offices so much and I’m glad I only have to be there twice a week. This job aged me years in months it’s so fucking dull and I come in every time with a look of resentment on my face and pity for those trapped in this prison of a job, whose best years are far behind them, only promising…

Bladder Shyness with Urine Test
I am unable to provide a urine test even though I am clean. Most companies don't allow other that I will pay for to show im clean. I can't get a job now because my brain refuses me to piss in a damn cup with someone right behind a door. I'm so frustrated
Boss keeps asking same questions
My boss every night keeps asking me the same question every night and every night I give him the same answer. Like this… “are you scrubbing all the buildings?” I reply “sure am :)” is he just checking up on me or being a dick?
That's pretty much it. Whenever I show initiative at work, upper management treats me like shit.
Workplace heating regulations
My SO works in a large retain chain in a mall which consists of two areas: the main floor with merchandise and the stockroom. For my state, OSHA requires indoor temperatures >65F, but the store has no HVAC active. The temperature of the main floor was measured to be 64F while that of the stockroom is 57F (this was done on a relatively warm day). It’s so cold some days that my SO has literally gotten frostbite. The store manager said that the corporate and mall managers allegedly won’t do anything about it, but she doesn’t want to bother escalating it herself. I want to submit a tip to OSHA myself, but the issue is that the stockroom is so cold that the employees brought in a space heater. I’m worried that they might get in trouble if OSHA comes to inspect since it’s a somewhat cramped space with fabric…
Help my job is ruining my life
I have been working at Wendy's for close to 3 years and they keep cutting My hours with no reason as to why. What is the best course of action for me to quit without coming off as a total asshole?
Looking to unionize
I'm in the hush hush phase of unionizing my workplace. I've started by trying to improve employee relations. Anytime I hear somebody talking bad about another employee, I always try to remind them that we are all trying to do the best for the people we love. If somebody calls in, regardless of how believable their alibi is, I make sure no one gives them grief. I started a work group chat with only the employees and no managers to give us a space to just talk about our job and encourage people to leave personal disputes out of it (harder than it sounds). My biggest worry is that some employees have just crazy amounts of loyalty for the bosses (despite not receiving any extra compensation for their dedication) and I don't know what I can do to show them that the bosses don't give a fuck about them. These…
