The sun and rain are basically doing all the hard stuff. Did these rich companies create the sun, seeds, animals? No. They created plastic though which is destroying the ocean. They’re figured out how to sell us something that should really be free. Imagine FOOD is not available to a large portion of the world. Just because a few greedy fu**s. No it’s not rocket science to learn how create local farms that are sustainable and don’t have carcinogenic pesticides. Yes it would take a tiny bit if research but hey we have the internet. No excuse to be reliant on these people banking on you getting sick and fattening their pockets.

Did I Really Break Free?
It was a nasty break up but I finally left a cut-throat sales and marketing scene from a 50 mil corporation (who somehow thought they were at the same level as Amazon despite being eaten alive by them), who was thoroughly toxic and uninspiring, and this was a couple years before covid turned everything upside down. 5 years later I have since found a new stride and decent way of earning on my terms. At face value it's amazingly liberating to pull this off. And yet, on a daily basis I feel this over-compensating “fuck you look at me now” vindictive feeling that just won't go away. Obviously, they wouldn't even know or care what I'm doing now. I don't know if this is some PTSD shit or what, but it's like some sort of burn scar I cannot cover. So, even now that I'm emotionally fucked up by my…
One time worked a cleaning job got bit by a dog at work. They took me to this one cheapskate urgent care place and I got my hand wrapped. They gave me nothing for the pain my hand was a balloon all wrapped up and I could only whince. When I got out my boss was like K I can give you a ride back to work. One time I was in a pickle needed to start working to get a check and found a job but sucked it was every two weeks. My house cleaning trainer I rode with was coughing coughing coughing joking it's not covid. So the next day I feel like 5000 lbs wanted to give up told the boss I think I got sick by the coworker and that I'm going to test myself for covid and can't make it the day. He then flipped…
Possible company account loss
I got a text from a former co-worker who told me a background investigator for his government job said our company no longer has the account at the site we worked together at. I'm still employed with the company at the site. Is it possible we are losing the account or is it just misinformation? Any thoughts or similar experiences? This is in a right to work state at a big corporation.
Is manager being too much?
One day I was working and one of the 3 managers asked me if I could come in on my day off. I told her I wouldn’t be able to and just went on with my shift, she then proceeded to ask me again later in my shift and my answer did not change. She didn’t like that and told me that because of the position I’m in she expects more from me and need to be on call though when hired that wasn’t part of the job description etc, especially if I want to move up in the future I need to be flexible even though I work 10 hours OT every week to help as much as I can as it is. I feel like I'm being stretched too thin from my toxic power tripping manager. The next day it was my day off, and I got a…
I really don't understand how new graduates work experience if no company wants to hire them. Basically all companies ask for 2-4 years of work experience for entry level jobs knowing fully well that new graduates don't qualify due to lack of work experience. Many people ask the freshers to get any kind of job. But, almost all companies want experience in the relevant field. So, getting any kind of work experience won't help a great deal. In my opinion, companies are actually looking for mid-level professionals that are willing to accept entry level wage.
