Are you guy’s getting breaks?
Feels like the past few jobs I’ve had this year. Breaks/Lunch Break seem to not exist. More often then not I’m asked to work 10 hours days, no time to stop for a break, and 30 minute lunch break if I’m lucky. I was doing Fencing for 10-12 hour days. We almost never stopped to take a break. Just ate food as we went about our tasks. I was working making concrete forms. Same thing. No breaks. One 30 minute lunch break. Heavy lifting, fast paced… Day in, day out. Now. Working at a car wash. 10 hour days No break, No lunch break. Some days we’ll have plenty of down time, but others are hell. My manager is your typical micromanaging manager, and he’s also not understanding of people who have chronic health issues. He thinks if we follow customers around the store they’ll buy more and then blame you for not getting the sale if they don’t purchase anything. It’s exhausting and as someone who was diagnosed autistic two months ago as an adult, I’m realizing how toxic this place is for my mental health. It’s not a good fit at all. He’s asked me blatantly on the sales floor why I can’t be like my coworkers who…

Unfair working conditions?
I work in a full service auto shop and management has just informed us that if our numbers do not increase we will not be allowed to shut our garage doors. It is currently 24°F outside and I am anemic so I lose heat faster than one normally would. Would this be considered unsafe working conditions? Can they really not allow us to close the garage doors for the entirety of the day?
