The first time was because I had an important personal project that was going to take 6 months, and the company had no program like a leave of absence or anything like that. Once I was done I had to go back and apply as a new hire, no benefits for awhile and all that, in spite of being back in charge of the department. That burned a little. Since work places let me go and they don’t give me a reason they just say “sorry we don’t think your the right fit” I had like 4 places tell me that in the last 8 months? Wtf ? If you can’t give me a reason then I can’t learn from why you would say that? Not my choice.. shit sometimes the person who had fired me I never even met them before ! Which makes it worse!

I'm not sure what the rules are on this, or what the statue of limitations are, but I was being severely sexually harassed by my old supervisor (who has quit since I confronted him at the end of January 2022). I have screenshots of him calling me sexy, asking if I wanted to get a drink after work, etc…. Real Don Draper shit without the swag. He grazed his hand over my ass twice but I have no way to prove that. I never pressed charges because he has a family. But I am seriously messed up about it, almost a year after the fact! I get sick before going to the building, I went to therapy but can't afford to continue (the small business I work for doesn't offer health insurance). At my job we have an excel sheet that tracks our performance through the year. We are expected to update this on our personal time to have points of reference in annual performance review discussions for a job that pays below what’s considered living wage for my area. Had the convo in the title with my boss before my review on Tuesday. This is going to be a fun review lol

​ Little Caesar's in Barstow, CA. I'm told this is about month 3 of this being boarded up. Of all the places that should be able to make money, it's the cheapest possible pizza in a place like this. Even the expensive place is in business for years, says Yelp, but this is dead (temporarily, the ownership claims). My bet: the wages paid were at minimum, and it seems they ran out of employees or hired the type who damage or steal equipment. I'm told the wait time was 40 minutes sometimes.
