Doesn't it seem like there's an imbalance now? A confusion of what actually matters, like society doesn't know anymore? Since I was a kid I had a feeling where despite if I hate a person or think they're weaker than me – I thought of them as equal. Partly cause I was taught to believe so from every source of ancient wisdom there was available to me. But also, because I just felt it in my gut, a type of innate human value we all have that supersedes reality itself. Like, I hear about it everywhere, high-value men or high-value women. People assigning each other to a value system. But not only that – the value system doesn't seem to be based on actual merit. Or a persons ability to turn negative into positive. Not based on any tangible contribution to society, but rather a popularity contest. Like highschool, we'll…

I was skipping work for a few days, drinking and whatnot but then had to go to ER for alcohol withdrawals, was sent home with a script to detox so i don’t seize and a doctors note to my work saying i cannot work for a week. My time is up and I know that everyone is going to pester me about why i was hospitalized and gone so long. I obviously don’t want to tell them about my drinking problem. So whats another good believable excuse for my case? I was thinking appendicitis but, I don’t know if that checks out? Anyway i’m a line cook and everyone there is very close. So. theres no escaping being pestered about this. SOS

Does anyone else’s employer allow you to buy vacation days? Where I work, you can buy extra vacation days (paid time off). You can also sell your vacation days back to the company if you don’t want them. So essentially for buying or selling, the company prorates your daily pay, and adds or deducts that amount to/from your paycheques over the course of the year.

I've taken like 6 different medications for sleep, and my anxiety. nothing works. I can't even sleep with cannabis, although it helps with a lot. I'm trying to get Disability, but even if I do get it, that's not enough to live anywhere. I'm so scared and depressed.
