Started a new job a month ago and the first two weeks were average hours without proper training. Manager hardly checks up on me asking if I’ve done this or that and gives a bad attitude when I say no when I just started and no prior knowledge. Eventually, my hours were completely reduced to zero, giving hours to other coworkers with a schedule 2 weeks ahead of time. Another manager was talking on the phone saying a racist comment about me and how I piss her off when it’s just my 2nd week. I consulted my manager about the hours, and it’s due to being unproductive. This ticked me off because I haul ass across the entire store and the camera proves it. Now, without proper training, an attitude-like manager with unrealistic expectations, disrespect, and unfair treatment, what can I go about this? Obviously quitting would be the best choice, but would I be eligible for unemployment?
