My wife posted in here last night and I’d like to clarify some things. Basically I’m a baker at a smaller local bakery and our owner gave us an incorrect W2 and has yet to give us corrected ones. I’ve only worked here for about a year but this has been an issue in the past. Before our current manager we had crappy manager who didn’t keep records of people getting paid, whether it was via Venmo, cash, or check. The owner doesn’t think this is a big deal as he’s engaged to the previous manager and she’s pregnant with his baby. We’re supposed to get paid every Friday, it’s currently Wednesday and I haven’t seen my last weeks paycheck. All of the employees here, along with our current manager are all frustrated because when asked the owner give us a crap answer as to where our checks are. The bakery is sinking quickly, I’m trying to get out before we have to shut down because we aren’t being paid and our manager is being overworked.
