Need advice. My job is asking me to go into a home that is infested with bedbugs. I don't want to do it. Not sure what I can do about it. For context, I am a social worker who services families who have mental health and substance abuse concerns. I've seen a lot, but this just does not sit well with me. One thing is to not know, but to know and still force me to make two home visits, twice a week, for an hour plus each visit. IDK what to do. I don't want to bring that home to my family, and the option they gave me at work was to “dry your clothes in the dryer every time you come back from the visit”. As if drying is free. I feel petty because this is nothing against the families I service. I love my job, but feel the directions given are unfair and illogical.
