I have basically no work to do and haven't since late December but still get paid to basically chill and educate myself (WFH ftw).
A significant chunk of my team and org takes leave in January which is great for those like me that prefer to take holidays outside of the hectic Xmas/new year period anyway.
This depends on the workplace/industry of course but I'm grateful that I can be at work while the world is getting back up to speed and then take a holiday when I really need to. If you can, take advantage of leave timing to suit your wellbeing!
