Boomer vs Gen Z mentality in the workplace.

I currently drive school bus part-time while I finish up my college degree, as a young driver (and partially because of where I currently live) I find myself working with lots of older drivers. The bus runs at my work pay per run, one for morning one for afternoon. They used to be paid on a per-mile basis, but an old manager changed it to make run prices almost identical, only differing by a few dollars a run. When you get trained they let you select your run based on what runs are available, since none of my older coworkers wanted this shorter run because you make a few dollars less I took it. So now, I make on average $8 dollars less a week, but I get done with my run in half the time. The best part is my coworkers think they are the ones getting the deal,…
