I enjoy at a nonprofit 80% of the time but the last straw just fell. Two of the staff were caught doing something illegal at work (one was selling marijuana to the other). Super dumb of them but ultimately doesn't negatively impact anything at work.
Well the head boss decides this is a great opportunity to save the nonprofit some money by giving the two a choice: work 2 shifts for free or be fired. As in any good villain story, the seller is of course a single mom on probation so being fired would cause a lot of problems.
I wish there was way to burn the boss to ground without the other two wouldn't get scorched in the process. Fuck capitalism.
