I've worked at the same place for 10 years and have been promoted three times. There's a guy who was my DIRECT supervisor for 9 1/2 of them who just recently was promoted to a higher position. Monday night I walk in and the coworker I'm relieving says “_____ said #3 pump is going to be running low amps until we run process through it.”. 26 amps is considered low. This pump, pumps water to something called an outlet to keep it cool. I keep getting an alarm that says “high outlet temp” and then the alarm clears causing me to believe it's receiving water but I chalk it up to not running process through it. My NEW supervisor even sees it and says “We'll look into it when we get close to running process.”. About 30 minutes later it catches on fire. Long story short my old boss who just moved up is determined for this yo be my fault and “make me take responsibility” what do I do?
