This isn’t even required at my level of the corp, but he seems to think it is. He’s already helpfully filled in the template with Where He Thinks I’m Lacking, although HR (shocking!) disagrees.
After our last meeting I sat with the HR rep and the longer I talked, the closer her jaw got to the floor. She told me to “document everything”. This meeting is idiotic but I don’t want to antagonize him.
Any suggestions on how to navigate this requirement? Lying is exhausting, yet the company doesn’t value me enough to be in my business that way.
