Basically he found out I was looking at another job back in December. I stayed because 1 I wasn’t looking very seriously and 2 they gave me a raise I was happy enough with. Every time we meet he brings up if I’m looking for jobs again even though I have said every time I wasn’t (and explained the situation about the last one). Today he told me he asks that people give the company a 2 month notice. His reasoning? Because a reference from a COO looks better than a reference from a coworker or manager and they need time to find a replacement. Lol.
