So, I have worked for the company for 5 years just finished up early today to prep for my wedding next week.
As I was going my boss called me into her office and gave me an envelope saying this should cover the cost of a few drinks.
I was delighted and thanked her profusely.
When I got to my car to open it, it was a card signed by her and 35 euro (a twenty, a tenner and a fiver).
Like that won’t buy two bottles of wine.
I know I sound ungrateful but she really made it seem like my financial woes were over and she was my saviour!
Is she just out of touch on how much things cost or does she hate me?
In my five years I personally bring in 6 figures of business. Less than a month ago I won a six figure account and saved an old client from leaving when a colleague was really inappropriate. I took over the client, smoothed everything over and saved the company from losing more than 100k a year.
