I work in a liquor store, we carry little snacks (chips, cheese it's, pretzels, ext.) And I love that they were all still really affordable (like $.75 per bag) and I expressed my appreciation to my boss because we aren't allowed to leave for breaks so it's nice to have some snacks to munch on (we are so understaffed I work alone about half the time so I can't leave for any reason) so he decided to let the owners know that the prices arent keeping up, so they just released a memo upping the price of everything by over $2! Who's going to pay $2.75 for a small bag of chips!? I was the only one buying anything! So gouge me, the one who is working hard every day without a break?? God I fucking hate corporate America…
