Pretty much as it says in the title, I’ve applied for a promotion in my current department and have been given an interview but my boss (who makes my schedule so knows what days I’m working) has scheduled it for 8am on the first day off I will have after 14 days straight working.
I know they can schedule it for whenever they like but it does feel like a kick in the teeth that I won’t even get to have a lie in on my “rest day” when this interview could have been done on one of my days at work. I would have been happy to start early or finish late one of those days to do the interview but nope.
