Today I had a 1:1 with my boss first thing this morning. I was told what I’d be receiving as my annual bonus. Then I later received an email with a chart that explained that I’d be receiving a lesser amount. About $800-900 less. I emailed back asking for clarity. They did not apologize for their error and instead said the full chart was not visible on their screen when they were reading off of it during our meeting. I’m crushed and have been crying all afternoon/evening. I’m pregnant and a divorced single mom to a kid with major developmental delays. I really needed the additional money. I was given a roaring review with very little to work on. I’m so upset.
