I’m new to this job… well not new new but like 2 months old new so I know what I’m doing and what not to do. I work as a material handler and work with about a dozen other material handlers for this company. Last night one of them mistakenly put the wrong material in a machine causing $10,000 worth of fees for the company (according to my supervisor) and they’re blaming me. Assuming because I’m new and easy to blame. I’m told that said machine isn’t my side and not to fill it, do color changes, etc so I don’t touch it or do anything. I’m now being treated like a child and not allowed to touch material without permission because they now think that I don’t have basic knowledge to check material numbers before doing anything. Sorry if this is a little all over the place, just got yelled at by higher ups, idk what their positions is and I don’t care either.
