Today I showed up for work, booted up my work laptop and the brightness was on its lowest level. I spent 30 min trying every way to turn up my brightness, so I didn't have to strain my eyes to see what I'm doing. Eventually I called IT they told me I'm not allowed to adjust brightness for “security reasons” How on earth would the brightness of my screen have anything to do with security!?
